$13,500,000 recovered for a pedestrian stuck while she was walking along a local roadway in Smithtown.  Unfortunately, this young mother of two suffered a terrible head injury with brain damage, as well as multiple fractures throughout her body.  The money will help care for her and her children.

This case arose from the 9/11 WTC disaster and resulted in the award of $5.3 million in damages to two Long Island families secured by our attorneys for wrongful death losses sustained in the attack on the World Trade Center.

This motor vehicle accident case resulted in an award of $775,000 to a 35 year-old man who sustained a complex ankle fracture in a motorcycle accident in Suffolk County.

$750,000 secured during trial for a Nesconset mother of two teenagers who suffered from traumatically-induced Thoracic Outlet Syndrome — a rare and difficult injury to prove from a car accident – all because an inattentive other driver made a left turn into the side of her car.

The case arose from a head-on motor vehicle accident in Port Jefferson, NY. The 45 year-old client missed about 4 months of work and underwent successful neck surgery for the alleviation of herniated disc injuries.

$212,500 recovered for construction worker injured while on the jobsite. His leg fell into a hole in the floor injuring his knee and lower back. The plaintiff contended that Safety Rules required that holes be covered to prevent such accidents.

This case resulted in a Suffolk County jury awarding plaintiff $610,000 for neck injuries sustained by a Dix Hills resident in a one car motor vehicle accident, which did not require surgery.

This car accident was caused by the defendant running a red light while driving a company van. Our client sustained significant internal injuries and bleeding, requiring her to undergo surgery to repair the damage.

$350,000 for a young girl who was attacked and bitten on the face by a german shepherd dog. Because of the dog’s prior vicious behavior, including an attack on the local postal worker, we showed the owner was careless in allowing the animal near this child without proper safeguards.

As a resident in a nursing home, our client was taken on “field trips” by the staff, usually driven in the company van. On one such trip, the nursing home worker was inattentive to the road and rear-ended a school bus. The client suffered a closed head injury and fractures.

$350,000 recovered against a hospital for neglect of a senior in their care, who developed an excruciatingly painful bedsore with infection and sepsis. The open wound required her to undergo extensive and prolonged treatment, including use of a “wound-vac”.

$300,000 secured for a Dix Hills man who was injured because a young, inexperienced driver made a left turn into his driver’s door on Jericho Turnpike in Huntington.   The nerve damage which resulted caused him periods of incontinence.  Unfortunately, the other car was woefully underinsured for this loss.

Our client was responding to a medical emergency late at night when he tripped and fell in a darkened driveway, injuring his back. A jury found the owner negligent because he did no maintenance or repairs on the driveway for 30+ years, despite there being a large pothole that measured 13″ deep.

$300,000 secured during jury selection for a bicyclist-athlete who suffered a fractured clavicle and shoulder injury while riding in his neighborhood. A car driven by an inattentive driver pulled from a side road into the path of his bicycle, causing a crash and the injuries.

300,000 for man injured when an inexperienced teen driver made a left turn into the side of his car. The nerve damage to his spine caused a variety of problems, including headaches and bouts of incontinence. Unfortunately, the defendant’s limited insurance policy prevented full compensation to our injured client.

$275,000 secured for an injured construction site worker who was hurt when cement debris was accidentally dropped on him.

The client had been visiting the SUNY Hospital at Stonybrook, when a defect in the parking lot caused her to fall. She sustained a serious arm and shoulder fracture that required surgery to repair.

A young postal worker was the victim of an unprovoked attack by a fellow employee. The client suffered multiple lacerations and closed head trauma.

$225,000  to a Farmingdale Home Depot worker who was injured unloading merchandise from a tractor trailer.   While using a “pallet-jack” the floor of the trailer gave way, causing injury to our client’s shoulder, which ultimately required two surgeries.   Aggressive investigation early in the case established that the wooden floor of the trailer was rotted and its supports were rusted due to not being properly maintained.
